Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) and the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor Joint Office are set to deepen their collaboration on the 2025 edition of the Analysis Report on the International Image and Influence of the G60 Sci-tech Corridor. During a meeting on February 26, the two parties discussed the next steps for the report, which plays a crucial role in shaping the corridor’s international communication strategy.

This new phase of collaboration builds on successful research efforts over the past year, with SISU’s School of Journalism and Communication and the China International Public Opinion Research Center leading the development of the annual report. Both institutions are now focused on refining the evaluation system, improving data collection methods, and enhancing communication effectiveness for the 2025 edition.

Lu Yiwen, representing the G60 Joint Office, praised the previous year’s collaboration, noting that the report’s comprehensive analysis and forward-thinking policy recommendations have significantly influenced global perceptions of the G60 Corridor. The 2025 report aims to build on these achievements, with a focus on developing precise data collection techniques and improving the evaluation of communication efforts across international audiences.

SISU is forming a dedicated working group, led by senior experts and supported by outstanding students, to take charge of the project, ensuring a rigorous and responsive approach to data collection.

In addition to this research collaboration, both parties are committed to strengthening talent cultivation by providing internship opportunities for SISU students and creating a professional platform for them to engage in international communication efforts related to the G60 Corridor. This partnership aims to support the development of skilled talent while advancing global research on the corridor’s international image.
