Ms. Luo Mingqinog is presently a lecturer at the School of Journalism and Communications in Shanghai International Studies University (SISU), with a B.A. degree in International Journalism, an M.A. degree in English-Chinese Interpretation, and a Ph.D. degree in English Language and Literature. Her research interest is phonetics and phonology.
Since 2004, Ms. Luo has been teaching at SISU, and the courses she has been teaching include Intensive English Reading (Level III-IV), English Grammar and Writing, Viewing, Listening and Speaking in English (Level III-IV), and Basics in English-Chinese Interpretation (second major). She has rich experiences in helping students take TEM-4 and CET-6 for nearly 20 years.
In 2019, Ms. Luo won the third prize in the Fifth National Competition for College Teachers in Innovative Teaching Skills (Shanghai Division), and the second prize in the sixth competition in 2020. In 2023, the course College English Grammar - Lectures and Tests has been launched on the Xuetang Online website.
Ms. Luo has published more than 10 articles in journals and conference proceedings at home and abroad, and has taken part in the compilation of one teaching reference book and one encyclopedia in linguistics.
