School of Economics and Finance at Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) signed an agreement with Shanghai International Cotton Exchange to jointlyonstruct a practice base on Feb.22, 2019.

The two sides discussed on the implementing details of the practice base, reaching a consensus on further cooperation on the construction of more practice bases and strengthening of the school-enterprise cooperation.

According to Dai Diping, secretary of CPC General Branch of School of Economics and Finance at SISU, the cooperation would offer employment and internship opportunities to students in Economics and Finance major. The school would strengthen its cooperation with Shanghai International Cotton Exchange, and deepen their industry-university-research collaboration to improve qualities of talent cultivation, Dai said.

Qiu Jianhua, general manager of Shanghai International Cotton Exchange, introduced that the company was the only trading platform for cotton, textile raw materials and textile in Shanghai Free Trade Zone.The cooperation would help students to learn in practice, and encourage students to help the enterprise to innovate.
