Bahrain royal visits SISU to enhance ties in Arabic and Islamic studies

The Member of the royal family of Bahrain, Sheikh Khalifa Bin Abdullah Al-Khalifa visited Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) on April 8th.

The Sheikh khalifa team covered a five-day friendly visit to China at the invitation of the president of CPAFFC (Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries) Li Xiaolin . SISU is the only one university to visit during his excellency's China tour.

Vice President Zhou Cheng met the foreign guests on Songjiang campus. The two parties discussed and signed a preliminary agreement on establishing the Center for Arabic and Islamic Studies at SISU.  Then Sheikh khalifa toured teaching buildings and the school featured library and met some SISU students majoring in Arabic studies.
