SISU 9th annual president’s award for academic reading and writing kicks off

he ninth President’s Award for Academic Reading and Writing of Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) was launched on late this November on SISU’s Songjiang campus. This year’s topic was “global cooperation and participation”. The award has three components: preliminary contest, semi-finals and finals. The final will not be held until May in 2017.

This year’s award was launched in coincidence with the closing ceremony of SISU’s annual Library Awareness Month with the theme of “the future library. The awareness month lasted from October 24 to December 28.

Professor Ren Shuhuai, director of SISU’s University Library, concluded serial activities during the past awareness month. The serial activities included lectures, student’s and faculty’s activities, curator and exhibitions.
