he Campus Service Center in the Songjiang Campus of Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) started operating officially on November 17th, 2015.

With the operation of the Center, the one-stop service center for undergraduate and postgraduate students was also put into use to provide students with a wide range of campus services.

As campus governance is developing professionally, many Chinese universities and colleges are introduced with the establishment of the campus service center for their faculty and students.

To satisfy the needs of the SISU community on more sufficient and convenient campus services, the university council decided to set up a one-stop campus service center in the Songjiang Campus after several discussions.

It took more than half a year to establish the center. The center is located in the University Library and Information Center, covering an area of about 400 square meters. It has 15 counters and provides 60 kinds of campus services.

The establishment of the service center extracted experiences from universities with this kind of service both home and abroad. The test operation on November 2nd was quite successful.

Zhou Cheng, vice president of SISU announced this good news on the launching ceremony for the service center. Many students and teachers attended the ceremony, including Qiu Bijun, President of the Students’ Union of Undergraduate Students and Fan Kaige, Vice President of the Students’ Union of Postgraduate Students.
